Janaseva Foundation was established on 15th January 1988 and was registered
under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 on 23/05/1988 at
Pune Division Public Trust Registration Office.
Foundation received it’s first donation of Rs. 2000 from Shri Nandlal Kotecha and later on major donation of Rs. 50,000 from Shri Paresh Doshi. Held 1st Health Camp.
Foundation hired a wing of Sonapur Hospital and started its Health Service and reserved few cots for elderly as a sort of Old Age Home.
Old Age Home was inaugurated by Baba Maharaj Satarkar.
Hon’ble Shri Sharad Pawar, then Chief Minister visited
foundation and seeing it’s humanitarian activities
donated Rs. 5 lakhs.
Late Shri Keshavrao Dhapre donated
5 acres of land at Ambi Ranwadi to foundation.
Hon’ble Smt. Pushpatai Hire, Health Minister
of Maharashtra visited Ambi
*Foundation’s patron Shri Bharatbhai Sanghvi sponsored construction of late Kundangauri and late Manharlal P. Sanghavi complex at Ambi Ranwadi.
*Construction work of Govindrao Dhapre Rural Hospital began.
*Inauguration of Late Haribhai V. Desai Old Age Home – I built with financial aid from foundation’s Patron Shri Nitinbhai Desai.
*A Cow shed was constructed and started
functioning with 2 jersey cows.

donated 1 ambulance each greatly boosting the strength of health services offered by Mobile Medical Units.
Shri Rasiklal Manikchand Dhariwal Old Age Home was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Krishnakantji, former Vice President of India.
Late Shri Rasiksheth Dhariwal provided grant for it’s construction.
*Launched the RCH project
sponsored by GTZ, Germany.
*Perry Rotary Club, Chicago donated for furniture & fixtures for Dhariwal Old Age Home worth
Rs. 50 lakhs.
*Sufalam nursery provided saplings of various plants & trees.
* Village Development Council of England donated Rs. 30 lakhs for the purchase of physiotherapy equipment for Physiotherapy Centre at Ambi.
*International experts on Aging visited Day Care Centre
*Donation of Rs. 42.5 lakh from Mr. Yuzuki Robert Philip Kaku, Counsel General of Japan for construction of Destitute Rehabilitation Centre
*Naming ceremony of Ambi Complex
*Rtn Ishwar Uttamchandani of RC of Pune Riverside donated for purchase of cows & buffalos for cow shed.

Janaseva Foundation’s Old Age homes.

Dr. Anandibai Joshi award for being best NGO working in the field of health of women given by Govt. of Maharashtra.
