Seminars, Lectures and Workshops
The foundation is always keen to organize activities towards promoting public education and awareness of issues of poverty and health. Mention has already been made elsewhere of such activities as a seminar for Sarpanchs, Gramsevaks and other rural officials, and lectures on World Senior Citizens Day. Dr. Vinod Shah, himself a well-known orator has been giving public lectures on these subjects at various fora including the famous Vasant Vyakhyanmala (Spring Lecture Series) of Pune where he spoke on ‘Graceful Ageing’ on may 4, 2004.

WHO-SEARO sponsored National Consultation on Ageing
The foundation has taken initiative in pioneering activities for making Pune an age friendly city. The foundation thus will support steps, policies and movements that would take into account the needs of senior citizens in the city and bring about changes in its infrastructural facilities or otherwise. To urge and start off thinking on the subject, the foundation is organizing from 24th to 26th November 2010 a national seminar on ‘National Consultation on Active Healthy Aging’. It is a matter of great happiness that the event is done with the South-East Asia Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO-SEARO), ILC-I, Bharati Vidyapeeth, YASHADA and IFA are co-collaborators.
